This year's
Deptford Day festivities kick off with the Al
Cunard Memorial Parade
that begins at the intersection
of Cooper Street and Arline Avenue at 10am, continues
down Good Intent Road, through Bexhill Farms,and finally
concludes at the rear entrance to Fasola Park.

Build a Bat House at Deptford Day
You can build a bat house with the
Deptford Environment Commissionon in the pavillon onthe upper level
Bats
are extremely important.By putting up a bat house you are helping by
giving them a home. You will also benefit from having fewer yard and
garden pests, and will enjoy learning about bats and sharing your
knowledge with friends and family.
A single little brown bat can catch hundreds of
mosquito-sized insects an hour.
